Steve Harris is a British musician, founder and bassist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden. Born in London in 1956, he formed Iron Maiden in 1975 and has been the band's primary songwriter throughout their career, penning classics such as "The Trooper" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name".
