Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition

Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition is a full-length music documentary directed by Malcolm Venville that chronicles five decades of the legendary British heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The film traces the band's journey from its beginnings in East London pubs to the world's biggest stages. The filmmakers gained access to extensive archival materials from the band, including previously unreleased footage and interviews. The story is guided by current and former band members — Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrain, and Janick Gers — as well as famous fans: actor Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich (Metallica), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Scott Ian (Anthrax), and Chuck D. The documentary also features new animated sequences with the band's mascot Eddie. The film includes the last recorded interview with original vocalist Paul Di'Anno before his death in 2024. The screening at Kino Humpolec will have Czech subtitles.
