Schools – From Fairy Tale to Fairy Tale
Schwarzenberský palác, Prague
100 Kč / osoba, 2 pedagogové free
An educational programme for kindergartens and primary school students at Schwarzenberský Palace. Children will discover stories beloved in old art – such as how Saint Martin shared his cloak or how Saint Jerome tamed a lion – and learn to read paintings. The programme relates to works by Karel Škréta and Rembrandt van Rijn.
Students observe, narrate, imagine and draw. The aim is to guide them towards dialogue based on visual perception and personal experience, develop their awareness of details and the whole in selected artworks, and encourage their imagination when creating their own work in the art workshop.
Duration: 90 minutes / Capacity: 12–30 people / Price: 100 CZK per person, 2 teachers free
