Schools – Baroque Through All the Senses

An educational programme for schools designed to explore Baroque art through sight and touch. Students examine the colours and composition of Baroque paintings as well as the rounded forms of sculptures, studying works by Matyas Bernard Braun, Ferdinand Maximilian Brokoff, and Adriaen de Vries.

The programme includes a tactile collection called "Touches of Baroque", where students can handle plaster casts of Baroque sculptures and compare their visual and tactile perception of artworks. In the final workshop session, students create their own sensory object.

Practical Information:
- Bring scarves for blindfolding.
- Recommended group size: 15 students; larger classes can be divided into groups.
- During the blindfolded portion of the programme, cooperation from accompanying teachers is required.
