An educational programme for upper primary school students that connects the physics of light with Impressionist painting. Participants first enter a laboratory with coloured light, where they observe physical phenomena and explore connections between scientific knowledge and the work of 19th-century Impressionist painters. They then examine original artworks and discuss what can be learned about colour and light from the paintings.

In the studio section, groups experiment with coloured lights, create their own installations, and document the results with digital cameras. The programme relates to works by Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro, Paul Signac, Václav Radimský, Antonín Slavíček, and others.

Duration: 120 minutes / Capacity: 12–28 people / Price: 100 CZK per person, 2 teachers free
