Backrooms follows a woman who, while searching for a missing person, enters an unknown space outside ordinary reality. What initially appears to be empty offices and abandoned corridors gradually transforms into a claustrophobic labyrinth where the rules of time and space do not apply and from which there is no escape.
The feature film was created under the auspices of studio A24 as an expansion of the popular series of online videos based on the same-named creepypasta phenomenon.
