Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man whose love for his colleague Nikki (Inde Navarrette) is as intense as his shyness and inability to ask her out. In a dubious antique shop, he buys a dubious toy that, according to its instructions, can grant a single wish — any wish at all. Bear doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The result comes instantly. Nikki is in love with Bear — passionately, madly, and dangerously. The more it bothers him, the colder his feelings become, but Nikki remains obsessed and begins to behave like a madwoman because of this love imbalance.

A frightened Bear would like to return his wish, but the shop owner gives him advice he didn't want to hear: the magic of the wish can only be ended by death — preferably his own.
