Once Upon a Time in the West 2. Film Music Concert with Illuminations

A gala concert of film music with illuminations performed by the Moravian Piano Trio in the magical space of the Red Church in Brno. The programme features music from the cult western "Once Upon a Time in the West" and other iconic film melodies — the most famous film heroes will come alive in the magnificently lit church. The trio has performed in the same line-up since 1999: Jana Ryšánková (piano), Jiří Jahoda (violin) and Miroslav Zicha (cello). The ensemble has given hundreds of concerts throughout the Czech Republic and abroad, and has collaborated with stars such as Eva Urbanová, Štefan Margita, Andrea Kalivodová, Marian Vojtko and Daniel Hůlka. By the number of works in its repertoire, the Moravian Piano Trio ranks among the ensembles with the most extensive repertoire in Europe. The concert is part of the Film Music Nights Brno 2026 cycle and takes place with financial support from the City of Brno, the South Moravian Region and the Brno City District Centre, under the patronage of Mayor JUDr. Markéta Vaňková.
