Karel Plíhal - Recital

A recital by musician, lyricist and poet Karel Plíhal, who sings and plays the mandolin. He is accompanied by outstanding guitarist Petr Fiala, whom Karel met at music school in Hradec Králové. The programme consists mainly of songs that have become beloved by audiences over the years, as well as some compositions from an upcoming album. Throughout the evening, short poems and poetic miniatures weave through the performance, with which Plíhal introduces or complements individual songs. The audience can expect delicate and playful poetry, an intimate atmosphere, and intelligently humorous, often mature self-ironic texts. The programme lasts approximately 140 minutes including an intermission. CD sales and autograph signing will take place on site. The programme is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
