Distraction in Jindřichův Hradec

A pensioner named Isabela's washing machine floods her drug-addicted neighbour. A repairman needs to be called. An hourly-paid handyman arrives at an apartment that looks less like the home of a lonely senior and more like a clinic for unstable individuals.

Isabela's neighbour cannot fulfil his late wife's final wish, the flooded addict despises pensioners, refugees, and the government, and Isabela is visited by her offended husband—dead for years—who complicates both her life and the washing machine repair. During this bizarre visit, the illusion of one happy marriage crumbles, an old misunderstanding is clarified, and several new ones emerge.
