Jazz Open Ostrava 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary and takes place from June 10–18, 2026 at several Ostrava venues. The Festival Pass (Jazz Open Pass) is a unique "one ticket for all concerts" covering both club performances and the main festival day at Slezskoostravský Castle.

Complete programme: June 10 at 7:30 PM, Marta Kloučková & David Dorůžka perform "How Little We Dream" at Studio 1 of Czech Radio Ostrava – their album debut in an intimate jazz duo setting. June 12 at 7:00 PM, the Swiss neo-soul/funk band The Next Movement (Switzerland) celebrates their birthday party at club FABRIC. June 13 at 5:00 PM, Luboš Šrámek & Nikolaj Nikitin (Slovakia) perform at Pianotéka Showroom. June 17 at 7:00 PM, the traditional Jam Session takes place at club DOCK. The closing evening on June 18 at 7:00 PM at Slezskoostravský Castle courtyard opens with Matyáš Papp trio featuring Milan Angelo Novák (Jazz Juniors from Ježek Conservatory), followed by Boris Band Combination of pianist Boris Urbánek with Polish saxophonist Marcin Żupański and guitarist Vít Rokyta. The evening's headliner is Justin-Lee Schultz Band (USA) – a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, protégé of Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder, who has performed with Jacob Collier and Steve Vai and will perform in the Czech Republic for the first time.

The festival has long connected top international projects, the domestic scene, and space for young talent through the Jazz Juniors platform. It has been held since 2006 and is among the longest continuously organized jazz festivals in the region.
