SORFEST 2026

SORFEST 2026 is the 18th edition of a one-day open-air rock, metal, and punk festival at Slezskoostravský Castle and Loděnice in Ostrava. The festival takes place on June 6, 2026 from 12:00. It is organized by Marcel Pažický; the first edition was held in 2008 at the Stará kuželna restaurant, and since 2011 Slezskoostravský Castle has been its permanent home.

Performances will take place on three stages: Nádvoří STAGE, Aréna STAGE, and Club STAGE. Confirmed bands on the main stages include Visací Zámek, Panoptiko, Vítkovo Kvarteto, Debustrol (celebrating 40 years on stage this year), ČAD, Silent Stream of Godless Elegy, Dark Gamballe, Zputnik, and Syridas. Entry to Club STAGE in front of the castle is free.

The festival includes a supporting programme, children's zone, workshops, and refreshments including craft breweries. Organizers provide supervised parking and bike storage.

Tickets are available in advance through Ticketportal for 500 CZK, in-person pre-sale at multiple locations in Ostrava for 400 CZK, and on the day of the event at the venue for 600 CZK. Youth under 15 enter free only when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket (tickets are not distributed in advance; free entry on-site). Holders of ZTP/P disability passes and one companion have free entry. The festival provides barrier-free access and a special wheelchair section near the stage.

Public transport: tram no. 4 and 12 (Důl Zárubek stop), tram no. 4, 6, 10, 12, 14 (Výstaviště stop, then 10 minutes walk across the castle footbridge), bus no. 28 (Hradní náměstí stop), or bus no. 92 (U Hradu stop). Parking in the castle foothills is free.
