Ludovico Einaudi Music arrives in Olomouc on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, at the Reduta on Horní náměstí. This is one of three Czech dates on the Italian composer's European tour. The Reduta serves as the home venue of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, one of the Czech Republic's oldest symphonic orchestras, founded in 1945. The concert hall in Empire style opened in 1831. The programme features minimalist compositions by Einaudi performed by Czech pianist František Panáček, with the space illuminated by candlelight. The Reduta on Horní náměstí (Upper Square) in Olomouc is the home venue of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, one of the oldest symphony orchestras in the Czech Republic (founded 1945). The hall was opened in 1831 as part of the Empire-style theatre building and originally served as a ballroom. A major reconstruction in 2001 modernised the acoustics and increased seating to 500. The upper floor houses the Mozart Hall, which serves as a foyer anteroom.
