A piano concert featuring the music of Ludovico Einaudi takes place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at the Monastery Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Šumperk. This is the second and final stop of Einaudi's tour in the Czech Republic, one day after the Olomouc Reduta concert. The Baroque church, originally part of a Dominican monastery founded in 1293, provides a distinctive setting for an evening of classical music by candlelight. The works of Ludovico Einaudi will be performed by Czech pianist Tomáš Vrány.

About the venue: Klášterní kostel Zvěstování Panny Marie

A deconsecrated Baroque church originally belonging to a Dominican monastery founded, according to the order's chronicle, in 1293. Its current Baroque form is the result of reconstruction after the 1669 fire, completed in 1688. Owned by the town of Šumperk, the church has served as a cultural venue since April 2005, hosting concerts, exhibitions, graduation ceremonies and other events. In summer it is open to the public with guided tours; the restored crypt is also accessible.
