Czech Ensemble Baroque Orchestra: Bach for Ever

The Czech Ensemble Baroque Orchestra brings its Bach for Ever cycle to Šumperk on Sunday, 14 June 2026, at the Klášterní kostel Zvěstování Panny Marie. This is one of two Czech concert dates for the orchestra this year. The church, originally part of a Dominican monastery founded in 1293, acquired its present Baroque form following reconstruction after a fire in 1669, completed in 1688. The historic sacred space provides an ideal setting for Bach's compositions, where music becomes a bridge between spiritual heritage and the present day.
