Fishing is a permanent, modern, and interactive exhibition on the first floor of the National Agricultural Museum in Prague's Letná district, open since December 2015. Spanning approximately 600 m², it presents fishing as one of humanity's oldest sources of livelihood and as a food phenomenon. The exhibition showcases the tradition of Czech pond farming — visitors can listen to a conversation between Jakub Krčín and Vilém of Rožmberk about plans to build a pond, study the biography of carp, or learn where carp "swam" to us from. It includes a film about pond drainage projected against a diorama backdrop, carp anatomy and butchering, interesting recipes, and information about fish in Czech waters and their protection. The exhibition is brought to life by large aquariums with live freshwater fish — visitors will see catfish, pike, carp, and roach. It uses extensive audiovisual technology, sound and animation effects, 3D presentations, and augmented reality. Creative activities are prepared for young children. In 2015, the exhibition won second place in the national Gloria musaealis competition in the Exhibition of the Year category. The museum is open daily except Mondays; wheelchair access is provided via ramps from Kostelní Street or from the museum courtyard, and elevators serve all floors.
