About: Dan Bárta

Dan Bárta is a Czech singer, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist working at the crossroads of jazz, soul and pop. He has won 13 Anděl awards (the Czech music industry prize) and has been a prominent figure on the Czech music scene for over 30 years. Beyond music, he pursues natural science and writing, including the book Některé nevinnosti světa and the TV series Krajina Dana Bárty.
