Theatre in the Park 2026

The Theatre in the Park festival takes place on 23 May 2026 in Zámecký Park, Prague-Kunratice. Founded in 2008, the project regularly hosts all-day open-air events for children, parents, and grandparents. The rich programme starts at 11:00. The day opens with Aleš Bílek's Theatre presenting fairy tales "Animals and Robbers" and "Little Red Riding Hood". The afternoon features a musical performance by the band Meadow Avenue, followed by Krapet Theatre's play "Adventures of Bee Bears". The programme's highlight will be a concert by Michal Horák and his band. There will also be a big surprise at 12:30 and Karel Zima's Talent Stage. The beloved actor and presenter Karel Zima will host the entire day. Visitors can enjoy a supporting programme featuring art workshops, a climbing wall, and other activities for children and adults. The event takes place in any weather – the wet-weather option includes tents in front of the stage, theatres in marquees, and refreshments under tents. The festival is organised by Theatre in the Park in cooperation with the Prague-Kunratice Municipal District.
