PRÁCHEŇÁČEK Children's Ensemble Celebrates 45 Years!

The children's folk ensemble Prácheňáček marks an exceptional milestone in 2026 – 45 years since its founding on February 10, 1981. The ensemble was established at the initiative of Josef Režný, founder of the Prácheňský Song and Dance Ensemble, and has since performed regularly at the International Bagpipe Festival in Strakonice and at other cultural events. The ensemble's repertoire draws from the cultural heritage of the Prácheň region and Pošumavý – the children perform traditional songs, dances, and music in authentic Prácheň folk costumes. The jubilee concert takes place on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the House of Culture in Strakonice. Admission is 150 CZK; tickets can be purchased online or at the Strakonice House of Culture box office.
