Prague Spring 2026 ⬩ Chopin Competition Winner

Prague Spring 2026 presents a recital by Eric Lu, an American pianist and winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, whose final took place on October 20, 2025. Prague Spring is among the first festivals in the world to present this laureate. The Chopin Competition in Warsaw is renowned for its winners becoming classical music stars virtually overnight – triumph in the Polish capital marked the beginning of the careers of Maurizio Pollini (1960), Martha Argerich (1965), Garrick Ohlsson (1970), Krystian Zimerman (1975), and Seong-Jin Cho (2015), all of whom have performed at Prague Spring. The recital programme features works by Chopin, Schumann, and Schubert. The concert takes place in the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum as part of the 81st edition of the Prague Spring festival (May 12 – June 4, 2026).
