Exhibition: In the Viewfinder – Space for Art

The exhibition of behind-the-scenes photographs by Kateřina Janíková titled "In the Viewfinder – Space for Art" takes place at the Na Zábradlí Theatre as part of the opening of the 68th theatre season 2025/2026. The exhibition captures photographic records from behind the scenes of the theatre. The evening programme begins at 18:00 with the opening of the exhibition, followed at 18:15 by a dramaturgical introduction by Dora Štědroňová, the theatre's dramaturge and artistic director, presenting the upcoming season. During this introduction, she will present not only the forthcoming season but also the evening's subsequent premiere of the new production "My Struggle". At 19:00, a revival of the production based on the bestselling novel by Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgaard, starring Miloslav König and Simona Lewandowska in the leading roles, will open the new season. The 2025/2026 season will offer six new titles, both original works and adaptations of literary and film works. The Na Zábradlí Theatre is located at Anenské náměstí 209/5 in Prague 1 and is fully accessible – there is a reserved space for wheelchair users in the auditorium and a barrier-free toilet is available.
