Tady Vary 2025/26 – Spring Season is the second part of the third edition of a subscription-based film season organized by Czech cinemas in collaboration with KVIFF Events. The main partner is the ČEZ Group. The spring programme features 6 premiere evenings on Wednesdays in more than 70 cinema halls across the Czech Republic, from January 7 to June 10, 2026. Screenings take place every Wednesday, with each cinema having a regular start time tailored to its local audience. Viewers watch the film simultaneously in cinemas across the country; the atmosphere is enhanced by an introduction broadcast to all cinemas.

Screening dates at Kino O Ostrava and programme:
– January 7, 2026 – Iranian moral thriller A Minor Accident by Jafar Panahi (Palme d'Or from Cannes, 105 min.): Vahid, released from prison after a fabricated trial, searches for his torturer, whose face he never saw – only heard the creaking of his artificial leg.
– February 11, 2026 – Czech "Covid western" by Ondřej Hudečka set in Strážnice: a small-time thief returning from prison gets entangled in insurance fraud to help local businesses survive; starring Matyáš Řezníček, Filip Kaňkovský, Václav Neužil and Stanislav Majer.
– March 4, 2026 – Bride!, a dark and sensual reinterpretation of the Frankenstein myth by Maggie Gyllenhaal, set in 1930s Chicago, with Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley.
– April 1, 2026 – an unusual romance by Kristoffer Borgli (105 min.) with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.
– May 6, 2026 – Icelandic film What Remains of Love by Hlynur Pálmason (109 min.): the story of fisherman Magnus and artist Anna seeking a way out of their marital silence on the Icelandic highlands.
– June 10, 2026 – film by Fernando Eimbcke (99 min.): fifty-year-old Olga lives in Mexico City and is forced to rent out a spare room; her new roommate secretly brings his nine-year-old son.

Spring subscription (6 tickets for the price of 5) is on sale at www.tadyvary.cz; prices vary by cinema. Full-season subscription offers 10 screenings for the price of 7. The subscription is transferable.
