The Hunting Exhibition is a permanent exhibition at the National Agricultural Museum in Prague, open since December 2016. Located on the first floor of the museum's Prague building, which is dedicated to natural resources – visitors can also explore the Fisheries exhibition on the same level. The exhibition presents hunting as a lifestyle, attitude, mission, profession, and hobby for many people – a field with a rich tradition where the human role has always been essential. It showcases a profession rooted in ethics and morality, while also being economically valuable and capable of producing quality food. The exhibition traces the history of hunting, the duties and privileges of the hunting community, the hunting calendar year, and other professional information. The hunting story is told in classical form through display cases with carefully selected collection items, as well as through virtual effects that allow visitors to interact with the "scenes," and mechanical elements that visitors can operate. This mysterious world of sensory experiences combines the impression of reality with fairy tale magic. The exhibition also features interactive touch screens with quizzes and games, and a passage through a dark wooden forest with life-sized animal specimens. The museum is located at Kostelní 44, Prague 7 – Letná. Entry for children and youth under 18 is free. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday; closed Mondays. Barrier-free access is available via a ramp from Kostelní Street or from the museum courtyard.
