Bee Day🐝

Bee Day takes place on 20 May 2026 from 15:00 in front of building B of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague's Vinohrady district. The event is organized by Trimedík, a beekeeping subsection that operates under the auspices of Trimed, the student association of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine. Trimedík was founded by medical students who decided to combine their studies with beekeeping — the association started with three hives and has gradually expanded its knowledge of bee physiology and pathology under the guidance of Professor Tůma. The Bee Day programme includes a raffle, honey cake tasting, fresh honey sales, lectures on the beneficial effects of bee products, hive tours, and workshops. The event is held on the occasion of World Bee Day (20 May) and serves to promote and support the activities of Trimedík. Admission is free.
