Description was written before the event

Guided tours for children aged 3–7 are held every Saturday and Sunday from 15:00 at the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prague-Bubeneč (Papírenská 6, Prague 6). The guide will explain in child-friendly language why sewerage is important for a modern city and what happens to wastewater. Visitors will walk through the original above-ground and underground spaces of this unique industrial monument from 1901–1906, visit underground halls, corridors and sewers, see original steam engines from 1903, and take a boat ride (raft) across the surface of an underground settling tank. The tour lasts approximately 70 minutes. Group capacity is limited to 30 visitors. Advance booking is not required, but purchasing tickets online in advance is recommended. Admission: standard 280 CZK, reduced 170 CZK (children 3+, students, seniors), family 730 CZK (2 adults and 3 children). The tour route is not wheelchair-accessible and is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Sturdy footwear and warmer clothing are recommended, as it is cold underground even in summer. When you purchase a ticket, you receive a 10% discount on refreshments at the Čistírna1906 café.
