The War of the Roses is a black comedy by the Divadlo Na Fidlovačce theatre, directed by Tomáš Svoboda, which premiered on 1 March 2024. On stage, the marital duel of Barbara and Jonathan Rose comes to life — performed by Aneta Krejčíková and Martin Písařík. Barbara and Jonathan have a wonderful marriage, talented children, a grand house, a loyal dog, good jobs… Yet their great love is transformed into an empty shell by the pursuit of money and career, a place where life becomes impossible. The Rose house becomes a battlefield, and the divorce turns into a fight for survival. Cast: Martin Písařík, Aneta Krejčíková, Jan Holík, Lukáš Rous, Michal Zelenka, Martina Šťastná and Petr Veselý.
