NT Live: Audience

The Audience is a theatrical production by Peter Morgan, directed by Stephen Daldry, captured live from London's West End in 2013. It became one of the most-watched NT Live productions. The Netflix series The Crown was inspired by this very play. Academy Award-winning Helen Mirren portrays Queen Elizabeth II in a role for which she won both the Olivier and Tony Awards. For 60 years, the Queen met privately each week with her 12 Prime Ministers — from Winston Churchill through Margaret Thatcher to David Cameron. Through these intimate audiences, we glimpse behind the curtain of royal majesty and witness moments that shaped the monarch and history. Screening at Bio Oko, a cinema in Prague's Holešovice district with a capacity of 262 seats, equipped with modern projection, sound, and barrier-free access.
