Dance Department Evening – ZUŠ Strakonice

An evening dance performance by students of the Dance Department at the Basic Art School (ZUŠ) Strakonice, held at the House of Culture. The Dance Department of ZUŠ Strakonice has been operating since 1977 and specializes in teaching classical, contemporary, and folk dance. Through regular movement training, students develop proper posture, physical fitness, movement technique, and cultivate musical and spatial awareness. The department is currently led by Alice Janotová, a graduate of the dance programme at HAMU, who has been directing it since 2006. This performance showcases the year-long work of students from various age groups.
