Backside Big Band Plays the Greats: Ellington, Gillespie, Prima & Gershwin

Backside Big Band brings a program of classic compositions by Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Prima, and George Gershwin to Reduta Jazz Club in Prague on Friday, 29 May 2026. This is one of two Czech dates on the band's tour. Reduta Jazz Club, located on Národní Street in central Prague, is the oldest jazz club in the country, opened in 1957 near the National Theatre. The venue gained worldwide recognition in part through a 1994 saxophone performance by U.S. President Bill Clinton. The concert begins at 19:00.
