A Night of Jazz Legends: Backside Big Band Honors Ellington, Gillespie, Prima & Gershwin

Backside Big Band brings their tour to Prague on Friday, 29 May 2026 at Reduta Jazz Club on Národní street. This is one of two Czech dates for the ensemble, celebrating the timeless compositions of Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Armstrong, and George Gershwin. Reduta Jazz Club, Prague's oldest jazz venue since 1957, sits in the heart of Prague 1 near the National Theatre and carries a storied legacy. The concert begins at 21:15 and promises an evening of classic jazz standards from the greatest names in the genre's history.
