Royal Procession: The Pilgrimage of Empress Eliška is a two-day historical festival held on the first June weekend (30–31 May 2026) in the Beroun region. This year's 17th edition is loosely inspired by the historically documented pilgrimage of Queen Eliška seeking the healing of her husband Charles IV. The procession will pass through four stops: Králův Dvůr, Beroun, Tetín, and Srbsko, where visitors can enjoy a rich accompanying programme featuring period market stalls, crafts, music, fencing demonstrations, and entertainment for children. The event is organized by the city of Beroun in cooperation with the city of Králův Dvůr and the municipalities of Tetín and Srbsko with support from the Central Bohemian Region and the city of Dobřichovice. The programme at Tetín (Saturday, 30 May) includes from 13:00 a fair and photo booth at the Tetín Museum stand, at 15:00 the opening of the exhibition "Private Universe" (Petr Hejný) in the Church of St. John of Nepomuk, at 15:45 a performance of period music by Miritis, at 16:45 a performance by juggler Filip, and at 17:00 the ceremonial arrival of the Royal Procession with greetings from children (Tetín Voices choir), greetings from the mayor, a drum show, period dancers, and a knights' tournament in honour of the empress (SHŠ Alotrium). At 18:00 a feast follows — roasting sausages in the royal guard's camp with knights and squires accompanied by period music from Miritis. Those interested can join the procession and walk part of the route accompanied by knights, drummers, horsemen, and other period characters.
