Tour of the Senate on the 30th Anniversary of Its Establishment

As part of the celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Senate of the Czech Parliament, a series of guided tours of the historic spaces of Waldstein Palace is being held from January 2026 onwards for the general public. Participants can take part in a tour followed by a discussion in the Assembly Hall with a Vice-Chair of the Senate, who rotate regularly across individual sessions. After the tour of the historic spaces, visitors have the opportunity to ask any questions related to the functioning of the upper chamber and the work of the Vice-Chair. The tour is free of charge, lasts approximately 40 minutes, and is limited to 35 people. Registration is required — it can be done by phone at 257 075 707 or in person at the Senate Information Centre (Mon–Fri 9:00–16:00). When registering, you must provide your ID number. The entire anniversary celebration is held under the motto "Senate Faithful to Freedom".
