It was founded in the 1967/68 season when director Radim Vašinka and his collaborators converted the space themselves. Over more than fifty years, Rubín has built a reputation as a distinctive venue focused on original productions and new dramatic writing. The hall seats 65 and also hosts smaller concerts and discussions.
