Prague
Alfred ve dvoře is an experimental theatre in Prague's Holešovice district, founded in 1997 by mime and choreographer Ctibor Turba. It is the only theatre whose construction after 1989 was supported by the City of Prague. With no permanent ensemble or fixed repertoire, it serves as a platform for independent artists working in movement, visual and experimental theatre. Since 2001 it has been run by the Motus association. The building, designed as a garden theatre pavilion, is sometimes nicknamed the "iron camera".
