About the venue

The Chamber of Deputies is the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of the Czech Republic. It is housed in the baroque Thurn Palace in the Malá Strana district of Prague. The chamber consists of 200 members elected for four-year terms. Public galleries are open during plenary sessions, and occasional cultural events are held in the palace premises.
