Prague

About the venue

Prague Castle is the enduring symbol of the Czech state and, according to the Guinness Book of Records, the largest coherent castle complex in the world, covering nearly 70,000 m². Founded around 880 by Prince Bořivoj, it has served as the seat of Czech rulers since the late 9th century and today is the official residence of the President of the Republic. The complex spans architectural styles from Romanesque and Gothic to the 20th-century work of architect Josip Plečnik, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It hosts state ceremonies, exhibitions, and concerts.
