Rumfest 2026: Czech Rum? Now It Exists! – Petr Alexander

Petr Alexander's lecture focuses on rum from Landcraft — one of the few attempts at rum production in Czechia. You will learn how the entire process unfolds: from Paraguayan molasses through fermentation and distillation to barrel experiments. On-site tasting of the first release of their rum and exclusive single cask samples will showcase the differences in maturation.

Rumfest 2026 takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Vnitroblock in Prague. The festival features hundreds of rums from around the world, rum and signature cocktails, fresh sugarcane juice, masterclasses, guided tastings, seminars with international guests, a Caribbean food court, Latin music, DJs, live band, and Latin dance classes.
