Evening Castle

Evening Castle is a popular event hosted by the Regional Museum in Mikulov, held every Wednesday in July and August. Visitors have the opportunity to tour the castle outside regular opening hours, complemented by theatrical scenes performed by costumed guides portraying historical figures from the Liechtenstein and Dietrichstein families. The tours pass through castle rooms normally closed to the public and introduce participants to the history of Mikulov Castle, its legends, and folklore. The tour duration is approximately 45–60 minutes. In July, tours begin at 20:00, 20:30, 21:00, and 21:30; in August at 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, and 21:00. The programme is aimed at adult visitors.
