Festive closing ceremony of the Mikulov Art Symposium "dílna" with exhibition opening at Mikulov Castle. An opportunity to view the works created during the symposium and celebrate the artists' creations.

About the venue: Zámek Mikulov

The baroque castle perched on the rocky Castle Hill is the landmark of Mikulov. Originally a medieval fortress granted to the Liechtenstein family in 1249, it passed to the Dietrichsteins in the 16th century, who gave it its current baroque form after a fire in 1719. Rebuilt after burning down in 1945, it now houses the Regional Museum with permanent exhibitions on history, viticulture and the Dietrichstein dynasty. A highlight is the giant Renaissance wine barrel of 1,014 hl capacity kept in the castle cellars.
