Colorful Horizons and Young Glass Symposium

As part of the nationwide 10th anniversary edition of the ZUŠ Open festival, organized by the Magdalena Kožená Foundation, the New Town Hall will come alive with visual art and music. On Friday, May 15, the opening reception of the Colorful Horizons and Young Glass Symposium exhibition takes place in the Reception Halls on the 1st floor (Karlovo náměstí 1) at 17:30. The exhibition features paintings and glass sculptures by students of basic art schools and is part of the Colorful Horizons Scholarship Program of the Magdalena Kožená Foundation. The exhibition is open from May 16 to 22, 2026, daily from 10 to 18 hours, free admission. On the same day, May 15, two acoustic concerts are held in the Grand Hall: Author's and Piano Salon of Young Authors (starting at 16:30, free admission) and Festive Chamber Music Concert of Prague Art Schools (starting at 19:00, free admission). The ZUŠ Open 2026 festival runs nationwide from May 13 to June 1, 2026, bringing together thousands of students, teachers, and professional artists from across the Czech Republic.
