Pre-premiere Meeting – Embrace the Waves

A pre-premiere meeting is an informal event by the DJKT musical ensemble, held on the eve of the world premiere of the chamber musical "Embrace the Waves". It is an original Czech musical with a libretto by Tomáš Syrovátka and music by Zdeněk Krále, directed by Gabriela Petráková. The meeting will take place on 21 May 2026 from 18:00 in the foyer of the Small Stage in the New Theatre in Plzeň. Audiences and fans will be able to chat with the creators and protagonists of the production and learn interesting details about the creation and conception of the new work. The world premiere of the musical "Embrace the Waves" itself will take place on 23 May 2026 on the Small Stage. Hosting pre-premiere meetings is already a traditional part of the DJKT musical ensemble's preparation for new productions.
