Open House Prague 2026
Prague
Open House Prague 2026 is the 12th edition of an architecture festival that provides free public access to the city for all groups of residents. The festival runs from May 18–24, 2026. Accompanying programme – debates, lectures, guided walks, and exhibitions – takes place throughout the week starting May 18. The main festival weekend on May 23–24 opens more than 100 normally inaccessible buildings and spaces across Prague to the public for free, including approximately 20 new venues. Visitors will explore historic palaces, representative villas, industrial monuments, and modern architectural achievements. This year's edition focuses on the relationship between heritage conservation and urban development. New additions include two historic estates in Stodůlky – Hájecký dvůr and Saukupův statek. The Great Strahov Stadium celebrates its 100th anniversary. The festival is accessible to children, people with hearing or visual impairments, and foreigners. Weekend building tours require no advance registration; some accompanying events do require registration or ticket purchase. The festival information centre is located in the Kampus Hybernská complex (Hybernská 998/4, Prague 1), where maps, the Open Mag festival magazine, and souvenirs are available. The information centre entrance is barrier-free. A mobile app (Android and iOS) helps navigate the programme, displaying real-time information about building operations, tour lengths, and waiting times during the weekend.
